In the last few weeks, Ichabod Crane fifth graders have had an impressive array of exhibits displayed. Read a little about each scroll through pictures of their work below:
  • 3rd Annual Sasha Sicurella Photo Exhibition: Arts-in-Education residency includes self-portraits, shadow portraits, oil portraits, and mask-making. Funding was provided by Ichabod Crane and ICC PTA.
  • Slavery & Underground Railroad Museum: During the months of May and June, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Carey & Ms. Hamm’s class created a Slavery and Underground Railroad Museum in the Classroom exhibit. Students acted as tour guides to teach other classes in the building about a slave’s journey from capture in Africa to freedom via the Underground Railroad.
  • Western World Expo: Included a variety of projects based on Canada, USA, Mexico, and Brazil studies.
