Math 

                                                                                     

 

  • Students receive daily math instruction in either a whole group or small group setting from the Everyday Math series.
  • Math homework based on the current math concepts is typically given twice a week.
  • Once we begin learning multiplication, multiplication homework is given daily as practice and repetition are necessary to memorize these facts.

 

Our favorite ways to study multiplication facts:

  • Practice a few at a time
  • Flash cards (make your own using index cards)
  • On-line: http://www.multiplication.com
  • Practice writing facts on paper
  • Have a family member quiz the student
  • Have the student quiz a family member
