English 11 Advanced Placement
The English 11 Advanced Placement course emphasizes in-depth analysis and evaluation of literature. Together, we will read classic imaginative literature, and reflect on that reading through discussion, writing and rewriting. Re-reading key passages and entire pieces is also a key component of our study. You will develop your understanding of how literature uses language and structural elements, and how that literature relates to cultural and historical values and beliefs.
