Parent Organizations

Ichabod Crane is fortunate to have active and supportive parent groups within all grade levels. The participation of parents is vital to the success of all students at Ichabod Crane. Parents and members of the community are welcome to all Board meetings, open house events, conferences, building shared-decision-making meetings and are encouraged to call the building principal with any concerns, questions, or suggestions.

Information Regarding Assessments

Information for parents on state assessments and Regents examinations is available in a Education Department Web site. The Parent Web page will be featured in the Resources for Parents section of the SED Website at http://usny.nysed.gov/parents/and will provide answers to common questions parents have about the state assessments, Regents examinations, and the standards. The Web page also features a series of fact sheets in Web and printer-friendly format. Information on the Ichabod Crane School Report Card (Kinderhook Central Schools) can be found on the New York State Education Web site.
