A detailed parent/guardian letter about Tyler Drive on ICC buses went home with all Ichabod Crane students on September 9. The original letter is online here.
Please note, there has been a minor change since this letter went home. In the September 9 letter, it stated that MyStop would be the phone app parents/guardians could use to monitor student bus status. This is no longer the case.
Tyler Drive Technologies are now using a different app – Ride 360 – for parents/guardians to monitor student bus status. At the time of the September 9 letter, this was not known to us and we apologize for any confusion. Again, parents/guardians can download Ride 360 to monitor bus status, not MyStop as stated in the September 9 letter.

We’re excited to announce that Ichabod Crane will introduce Tyler Drive technology on our school buses in the coming months. We’ll let you know more in the first few weeks of the 2019-2020 school year but for now, we’re giving a quick overview of this exciting development.
Tyler Drive systems include GPS software, a mobile data terminal and an ID card reader attached near our bus drivers. This system provides our drivers with turn-by-turn directions to each stop on our bus routes and monitors student ridership in real-time. Additionally, this system allows Ichabod parents, guardians and students to view bus information through a free Traversa app called “Ride 360”.
Ride 360 gives an estimated time of arrival at bus stops and information on when your children have scanned on and off their bus. This means you can check when your children are safely on the bus or even when their buses are running late. In early October, K-8 students will receive ID bus badges, a badge holder and a backpack attachment reel. High School students will not receive badges, but simply provide their name to the driver who will log them in the system. The system will go into effect approximately a week after badges are distributed.
Students will scan their ID badges each time they enter/exit their bus and if they forget or misplace their ID badge, drivers can register them manually on a mobile data terminal. At each bus stop, the mobile data terminal displays the names and photos of the students who should be boarding/exiting at that stop.
Below is a schedule of the planned rollout for Tyler Drive on Ichabod buses and if you have any questions in the meantime, do not hesitate to contact our Transportation Office at 518-758-7575, Ext. 3551
