Recently grade 4-8 students attended an assembly that focused on how social media is sometimes used to bully, how to spot it and how they can prevent it.
Presenters made it clear to them that words DO hurt, whether said out loud in person or online. Students learned how to be better friends and in order to get a friend, you need to be a friend.
