Cody Alessi, a 4th-grade student in Ms. Walsh’s class, was nominated by WGNA as a “Hometown Hero!” The radio station called up Cody at school for an interview, of which you can see a couple pictures of below.
You may recall the news from earlier this calendar year about Cody’s ongoing fundraising efforts for Tap Cancer Out, an organization supporting childhood cancer research.
To date, Cody has raised $15,000!
