During Ichabod Crane’s class cancelations due to the ongoing novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) situation, please remember that ALL DISTRICT FACILITIES are OFF LIMITS. This includes ALL athletic fields, the track, playground and buildings.

The only people allowed in or on Ichabod Crane campus facilities during class cancelations are:

  • Administrative and Central Office Staff
  • Food Service Staff helping with pick-up meals during cancelations
  • Maintenance Staff 

Students are not allowed in or on school district facilities during this time. Student safety remains our highest priority throughout this time and primary components of this are maintaining social distancing practices & keeping district facilities clean.

For example, student-athlete teams getting together for an informal practice/game on the Ichabod fields or track are not maintaining safe social distancing practices and breaking the rules. A single person or student can also leave possible germs on school equipment or facilities, meaning you should not be on school grounds even if you come alone.
