After many, many months we were so happy to start welcoming our students back on September 9 for in-person learning! Classrooms and activities looked a little different but everyone has been adapting well to the new normal. Since returning to school we’re pleased to say our students have been very respectful of the new health and safety guidelines.

Browse the gallery below from the first three days back at school in our phased-in reopening schedule. You’ll see many pictures of our socially distanced classroom set-ups, as well as what socially distanced gym classes and recess are like this year. Interspersed are also some creative art projects that incorporate students’ face masks, branded ICC safety signs around the halls and classroom activities that keep students in their own spaces but are still engaging.

We’ll update this gallery as more students return to school in the coming weeks!

PS: You may see a few pictures where students are taking mask breaks, which they do have periodically throughout the day. These are only taken when they are seated and distanced. If they need to leave their space during one of the short breaks, they put their masks back on.
