Ms. Sive’s 6th-grade class had a special virtual visit from archaeologist and Associate Professor at the University at Albany, Sean Rafferty.
Sharing stories and pictures from his career, Mr. Rafferty spoke all about what it’s like being a professional archaeologist and researcher. He left plenty of time after his presentation for the 6th graders to ask the questions they prepared beforehand
It’s not the easiest thing to get guest speakers for our students during these times, so many thanks to Ms. Sive and Mr. Rafferty for figuring how to provide them with an engaging learning opportunity adapted for these times!
