The following message from Superintendent Guntlow was emailed to all Ichabod Crane families on Monday, January 11.

Good Afternoon,
This morning the Ichabod Crane Central School District was informed that an additional High School student has tested positive for COVID-19. The student was last on campus on Tuesday, January 5. At this time, we have identified and contacted all staff members and families whose students came in close contact with the positive case while on campus or through transportation and notified them of the need for a mandatory quarantine.
If you were not already contacted directly via phone or email, your child was not a close contact and there is no further action needed on your part. The High School and Grade 6 will continue to operate fully remote until Tuesday, January 19th.
At home, please continue carefully screening your children in the morning before sending them into school and always err on the side of caution. If they are showing even mild COVID-19 symptoms, please keep them home.
