Slowly but surely we are making our way toward the light at the end of the tunnel that is the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the weekend, the Columbia County Department of Health hosted a COVID-19 vaccination pod at Columbia-Greene Community College and Ichabod Crane sent its first round of eligible staff under vaccination Group 1A.
In this vaccination group, we were able to send Ichabod employees classified as health care personnel, which included all our school nurses, psychologists, speech pathologists and physical & occupational therapists. All provide essential direct contact health-related services for our students and we are grateful they are among the earliest in Columbia County to receive the vaccine!
