Ms. Gardner & Ms. Ooms’ Kindergarten and 1st Grade remote classes have been hard at work making Community Cares cards, which recognize local community heroes. The first one they made went to Primary School School Nurse, Mrs. Kubow! As the person who keeps their school healthy and safe, she was the obvious choice to get the first card.
After that, they continued to spread the kindness around the local area, with the next batch of Community Cares cards going to the nursing staff at Columbia Memorial Hospital in nearby Hudson.
