Proud to say that one of Ichabod Crane’s very own school nurses, Michelle Warner, volunteered her time and services this past weekend at a Columbia County COVID-19 vaccination site. As frontline essential healthcare workers, our nursing staff were among the first in the county to be eligible for a vaccine last month and are now taking their COVID prevention efforts one step further.
Very inspiring to see Ms. Warner’s dedication to keeping the school community healthy and doing her part to end the pandemic even during her off hours. For those who do not know, Ms. Warner is also the primary COVID-19 coordinator/point person for our district and along with her Ichabod nursing colleagues (shout out to Ms. Kubow & Ms. Altomer!) has done an extraordinary job of keeping us all safe & healthy.
