There were tons of things happening around the Primary School on February 26 to celebrate the 100th Day of School! Take a look through some recent 100th Day happenings throughout the building.

Mrs. Luckfield & Mrs. Turrin had a special musical guest in their class: David J, a 17-year old Country/Pop artist from nearby Rotterdam, NY! David has performed in venues across the northeast and down in Nashville, plus had his songs played on the radio. David wrote a special song just for our students about the 100th Day of School and sent it in for the class to watch. After watching David’s performance, he joined the class on Google Meet so they could meet him and ask questions about being a singer/songwriter. Many thanks to David for writing this special song, helping celebrate 100 Days of School and answering our students’ questions.

PICTURES: Students Make 100th Day Artwork for Ghent Assisted Living Residents!
Mrs. Luckfield & Mrs. Turrin’s students also sprinkled a little 100th Day of School cheer around the community by sending artwork of their 100th Year Project to the residents of Ghent Assisted Living. Students imagined what they would be like once they are 100 years old. Ghent residents loved seeing the student artwork and appreciated these thoughtful gifts!

3rd Grade wrapped up their 100th Day of School Food Drive with a whopping 600+ food items for our student Backpack Program and the local Food Pantry! The original goal was to collect 100 food items by the 100th Day! Amazing work and generosity on display in the Primary School!

The K-3 full remote students made their 100 Day Monsters project and sent the finished results in to decorate the school! Each monster has 100 eyes to peer around at the folks in the Primary School hallways!
