Students who are considering applying to a Service Academy or R.O.T.C. program, their parents, and guidance counselors are invited to attend the Capital Region Service Academy Night and meet representatives from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), U.S. Naval Academy (Annapolis), U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, as well as Army, Navy, and Air Force R.O.T.C.
This event is an opportunity to learn about the unique academic and career opportunities offered through our nation’s service academies. Students who attend the service academies graduate with a top-tier education, strong leadership experience, and a commission as an officer. Moreover, they will join a proud tradition of leadership and selfless service to our nation. A panel of Academy and R.O.T.C. representatives will provide an overview of the admission process, daily life of a cadet/midshipman, and various paths to officership. Representatives will be available after the panel to discuss and answer questions from students, parents, and faculty.
Attached, please find our Service Academy Night flyer with further details and information. This event will take place virtually on Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 pm. Feel free to share this with students, parents, or school administrators who may be interested in attending.
