In November 2014, Ichabod Crane High School proudly began a new tradition of honoring our students that demonstrate our school district’s mission and community values. These students have been recognized by high school teachers and staff for exemplifying what it means to be an Ichabod Crane Rider. They exhibit all-around good character, morals and demonstrate Rider values and Rider pride in the classroom, in sports, arts, music, volunteering in the Pre-K classroom and in the community.

kiley menalsonnaiek goico

Kiley Melanson

Kiley Melanson is a real trooper. In addition to being a great artist and hard worker, Kiley badly cut her hand while carving wood in class and needed to get stitches! However, that didn’t stop her from coming back to the next class and getting right back to her sculpture, this time wearing cut proof gloves, of course. Great persistence and a little bit of bravery!

Naiek Goico

Naiek Goico is a polite and great student. She always is grateful when help is given by myself or another student. She is a pleasure to have in class and always says have a nice day to me after class is over.
