21 Ichabod Crane students in grades 8-12 attended the 4th Annual Youth Summit. The conference, sponsored by the Northeastern Community Action Partnership, was held at the Albany Capital Center. Students heard empowering, motivational, and inspiring keynote speakers. The topics discussed included the impact of substance use disorders, mental health advocacy, community resources, and the importance of making healthy choices.

Our students participated in two rounds of physical challenges, with 8th grader Noah winning the wall-sit challenge. The students and chaperones agreed that they enjoyed the opportunity and learned a lot. They are hoping to be catalysts for change at Ichabod Crane.
