Superintendent Suzanne Guntlow is ready for the first day for students on Sept. 6 and cannot wait for schools district-wide to be full once again with teachers, students and staff.

This edition is packed full of information and announcements, including the completion of the Capital Project. Check out our latest and most comprehensive Capital Project video, which captures all of our newly renovated spaces. The September edition also includes details about our biggest ever summer program, the staff’s first day back, updated COVID-19 information and resources, and our continued commitment to preventative and proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of the entire ICC community.

 

We also have a few Save the Dates for you — mark your calendars:
  • Community Safety Forum: Sept. 8, 6:30 p.m., at the High School Auditorium. The district is hosting the forum where Needham Risk Management,  our new consultants will summarize the collaborative work they have done district-wide over the last few months, discuss where we will go from here, and answer questions from the public. If you have a question, it must be submitted beforehand by Sept. 5, using this Google form.
  • Capital Project Showcase: Sept. 16, 4:30 p.m., at the High School. The showcase will kick-off with a ribbon cutting at 4:30 p.m., followed by student-led tours in the Middle and High Schools. The showcase is on the same day as the PTA Welcome-Back Picnic at the Primary School, as well as several athletic competitions.

  • Foro de Seguridad Comunitaria: 8 de septiembre, 6:30 pm, en el Auditorio de la Escuela Secundaria. El distrito está organizando el foro donde Needham Risk Management, nuestros nuevos consultores resumirán el trabajo colaborativo que han realizado en todo el distrito durante los últimos meses, discutirán hacia dónde iremos desde aquí y responderán las preguntas del público. Si tiene una pregunta, debe enviarla antes del 5 de septiembre, utilizando este formulario de Google.
  • Exhibición de Proyectos Capitales: 16 de septiembre, 4:30 pm, en la Escuela Secundaria. La presentación comenzará con un corte de cinta a las 4:30 p. m., seguida de recorridos dirigidos por estudiantes en las escuelas secundarias y preparatorias. La presentación es el mismo día que el picnic de bienvenida de la PTA en la escuela primaria, así como varias competencias atléticas.
