Summer 2020 Online College in the High School Course  (June 8, 2020)

The College-in-the-High School (dual enrollment) program at Columbia-Greene Community College provides Ichabod Crane students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, offering sessions in economics, psychology, sociology, health and safety, and more. College Fairs Online, Virtual College Fair on June 15-20 (June 8, 2020)

College Fairs Online is still hosting our nationwide virtual college for your students. Students can research and connect with great affordable colleges and universities for free without having to leave home.

Students can chat with admissions counselors to ask questions about academics, campus life, financial aid, scholarships and more!

They can go online to register here for the virtual college fair scheduled for the week of June 15-20.

Siena’s College Jumpstart Chat for Grades 9-11 (April 28, 2020)

Unfortunately, the College Process 101 Evening Program originally scheduled for May 13 has been canceled due to ongoing school closures.

However, Siena College is hosting a similar online program – College Jumpstart Chat – on June 24 at 7 PM. Siena admissions counselors will be available via a virtual chat session for students in grades 9-11 and their parents/caregivers. The evening gives you chance to ask about getting a jumpstart on the college admissions process and the logistics of it.

AP Exam Changes Due to COVID-19 and Free Online Review Courses (March 25, 2020)

As schools and communities navigate the challenges of COVID-19, the AP program has changed the way AP Exams will be given this year. This year the exams will be given online in more streamlined versions.

The Ichabod Crane Counseling and Guidance Office recently sent out a letter to AP students (and their parents/guardians) with more details about these changes. Please review the letter with full AP Exam changes below:

As of March 25, you can attend free, live AP review courses, delivered by AP teachers from across the country on the Advanced Placement YouTube Channel.

Capital District Consulting is offering SAT Prep courses through April 2020 for Ichabod Crane High School students.

Dates are April 2, 7, 21, 23, 28 and 30
