Mrs. Walsh and Mrs. Kirker’s classes had special visitors after finishing their unit on service and rescue dogs: members of the Albany Police K-9 Department!
Sergeant Noonon, Officer Phillips and Doug (the dog) visited both classes. Students heard firsthand what it’s like to work collaboratively with a dog for your job and had a bunch of questions for all three officers.
