Instructional Positions

Ichabod Crane utilizes the secure Internet-based Online Application System for Educators (OLAS) to post teaching position openings and to accept applications and resumes. Additional credentials will be requested from the applicant upon approval for an initial interview.

High School Special Education Teacher (Leave Replacement) for 2026-27 School Year

  • This full-time position begins on August 26, 2026.
  • Required Certification: Special Education 7-12
  • Salary: per ICTA contract

Non-Instructional Positions

Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

0.3 FTE – Approximately 12 hours/week (days and hours flexible)

Start Date: ASAP

Hourly rate: $28.07

Requirements and Responsibilities: Experience or interest in processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, and issuing payments. Key tasks include verifying invoices, managing vendor files, and preparing financial reports as needed.

Instructional Substitutes

We are seeking Teacher and Teaching Assistant Substitutes. A high school diploma is required.

The 2025-26 rates for teachers are:

      • Uncertified Teacher – $120
      • Certified Teacher – $135
      • Uncertified Teaching Assistant – $110
      • Certified Teaching Assistant – $115
