Grade 5 held its annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration on Monday, November 2.
The holiday orginated in Mexico and is also celebrated all over the world to honor and share the memories of those who passed. Fifth graders decorated Calaveras (sugar skulls) and masks, as well as sharing special memories about their own family members and pets who have passed.
