As we look ahead to the start of the 2021-2022 school year, we are asking for your help to fill some open positions within our district. We have a pressing need for teaching assistants and bus drivers.
Parents make great teaching assistants! Do you want to work with students and teachers to deliver Ichabod Crane’s top-notch curriculum? Do you enjoy helping children find their strengths and overcome struggles?
Teaching Assistants work with our teachers to conduct classroom instruction and provide support to students throughout the school day. This is a state-licensed instructional position, but the district will assist with the certification process to ensure each requirement is met. These positions are currently open at the Primary School and in our Special Education Department. Our Transportation Department is seeking bus drivers. We provide paid training and benefits depending on how many hours worked, as well as a flexible schedule with split shifts. Drivers can also pick up extra runs, provide out of district transportation, or drive for field trips, sports, and other extracurricular events.
